200 Rounds of 200gr Open Tip .300 AAC Blackout Ammo by Winchester For Sale
Looking for 300 AAC Blackout subsonic ammunition made in the United States? So you didn’t have to travel to Las Vegas to win the lottery today! Winchester packs this ammunition to a muzzle velocity of just 1,060 fps, preventing it from breaking the sound barrier and producing a loud cracking sound when fired. A suppressor will be considerably more effective with low-report ammunition like this!
The bullet of this cartridge weighs 200 grains and has an open tip. The 300 Blackout’s heavy bullet is the only factor in this ammunition’s subsonic performance. The jacketed flat base of the open tip provides propellant vapors with an equal surface to press against, but it prevents those same gasses from removing lead and depositing it inside a barrel or suppressor.
Due of its inability to expand at the terminal end, the open tip is not regarded as a hunting bullet. As a consequence of the manufacturing process, liquid lead is poured into the bullet’s jacket so it can harden in place, leaving an aperture in the bullet’s nose. Its greater stability in flight is due to the homogeneous weight distribution that results from the open tip.
In the great state of Illinois, Winchester produced this ammunition using reloadable brass cases, non-corrosive Boxer primers, and low-fouling propellant. 10 boxes make up a case.
