Only you or others you choose have access to the one firearm that is safely stored in the Hornady® Keypad Handgun Safe. The spring-loaded door can be quickly unlocked by keying in your unique security code on a keypad or with a backup barrel key. (A 4- to 6-digit code may be programmed into the keypad.) When the safe is opened, an inside light immediately turns on, and the contents are protected from harm by a foam lining. A steel security cable that is provided with the Keypad Handgun Safe allows you to secure it to the ground. The safe is made of 16-gauge steel. The keypad and illumination require four AAA batteries (not included), however the safe can still be opened without electricity by utilizing the key lock. You can choose between audio and visual signs of low battery life to know when batteries need to be changed. 12″L x 8.3″W x 2.6″H on the outside.
